Description

This program was printed for a banquet in celebration of Utah's third governor, William Spry. Many businessmen in Utah, especially the Beckers, supported William Spry because he vetoed two state prohibition bills. Governor Spry vetoed the first prohibition bill in 1909 and the second in 1915. Gustav Becker was a member of the committee which hosted this banquet.
